Terrible news. i think we have looked loads better with Weso in our midfield and we are going to need someone to replace him and i dont think williams would be the best option. i think we would stay stronger if we moved stearman into midfield and put maybury back at right back. stearman is quick and a good tackler aswell as a good passer so i think he could play the role quite well

ooow shit shit shit :(

poor poor weso, he was doing brilliantly. I hope it is just bad luck, and that our midfield can still function the way it has been recently without him.

should he have been allowed to try and rejoin the game???
i think not the phisio should have spotted it....
and as for him being piggy backed across the pitch is nothing short of stupid:mad:
get well soon weso:icon_cry:

One of my mates broke his leg and didnt go to hospital for 4 weeks. He has a very high pain threshold and didnt think it was to serious until he was nearly sick from the pain whilst running.

It isn't as clear cut as you think, some people have a high pain threshold and i'm sure Dave Rennie doesn't have X ray specs. Weso's enthusiasm to get back on probably allowed Rennie to allow it.

Devastated for the lad, his contribution to the last 3 games have been massive, but he now has the summer to get right and ensure he is fully fit and raring to go, he probably was rushed back, especially when the club knew the likely impact he would have. TBH had we been safely placed in mid table I doubt he would have come back quite so quickly.

I think Williams would be a decent replacement, remember look at the rest of the squad, how they have blossomed under Kelly, maybe with the obvious encouragement and confidence both Kelly and Stowell seem to be instilling, they may just be the duo to get the best out of Williams.

It will be interesting to see what choice RK/MS make ie
a. Williams direct replacement
b Hughes inside and bring in Smith

I seem to remember Smith had a particularly god game against their defence last time, although i feel he would have more impact coming off the bench late on (if needed)
Id go Williams (provided hes over the weekend bug!)
