4 goals in 6 matches, not difficult to see where the problem is..

Yep hit the nail on the head there H. It is worrying when you consider we have yet to score an away league goal in 3 attempts this season.

4th game out of 6 where we have failed to net.

Only 1 team in the League have scored less goals than us,Sheff Wed.Although both Hull and Leeds have scored the same as us.Thought it would be a big problem before the season started, nothing yet to prove that it won't be.:icon_sad:

Worringly the season seems to be following a very similar pattern to last season. September is a very difficult month, with some tough fixtures, I fear that a poor month will invariably lead to a loss of confidence and the possibility of being embroiled in and around the relegation places, it is imperative that we get results in our two home games and we quickly start scoring goals especially in our away games.

when we really struggle to break down teams like Southend at home when we have no injury problems the writing is on the wall for a very long hard season

hopefully Fryatt can rediscover his shooting boots, or RK can pull a loan signing out of thin air, we so desperately need to beat Hull by a good margin to get some confidence in the team and push forward rather than continually treading water

Good Post Ox, the truth is despite having 6 or 7 very talented players, we lack real depth and quality in the squad and I still feel we are a workmanlike side rather than an exciting vibrant side, as is proved by our lack of cutting edge and our inability to score especially away from home.

Very disappointed we didn't come out with atleast a point, the first 70 mins they were absoultely crap if we had a creative player in the centre of midfield we would of punished them, the last 20 mins we fell asleep and RK substitutions didn't help, i thought Low did well i dont know how you can put stearmen at right midfield, he is a right back! Then Fryatt off for Hume, i thought Fryatt caused there defense a few problems, i thought we should've take O'Grady off, then last but not least Weso for Levi that was a strange decision, because there full backs and wingers didn't look good at all so we should've played with width! Im v.disappointed with RK's subs

This was a match that was full of crap. Only our defence can walk away with heads held high.
Do we have a midfield, I didnt see one today.
Do we have an attack, didn't see that either.

Kentons own goal seemed to be a move that suggested to me he has no confidence in the goalie, although Hendo did a couple of useful saves, but he was still shakey with crosses and corners.

O'Grady looked out of his depth too and looked like a lump, something what I have been saying for ages now, and there was a few in the crowd now starting to doubt him too. Fryatt was no better and the more I see of him the more I believe he cannot read the games he plays in. There is no understanding between any of the players.

In short my MOM was Paddy Kisnorbo again.....
