Ndidi is a gem, 19 , or 20 years old, what a future he has. Yes he makes mistakes, but not in crucial areas. Judging by his comments on various social media he's very happy at the club. This is someone you can build a team around, we have some very very good young players all of them itching to get a regular place on the team sheet. I believe a top eight finish next season is possible lets hope the managerial merry-go-round doesn't spoil it.

Good point. His passing accuracy was 69% in comparison to Drinkwater with 87%.

I always think Drinkwaters stats are silly. How many times does he get the ball from a player 5 yards away and then give it straight back to them? This season he appears to want the ball but has no idea what he's going to do once he gets it and so passes back to whoever gave it to him.

Cracking pre match pub today, The Vine

I think Danny is a great player.

We have a squad that should've been top 6 this year. Top 10 and CL last 8 is a pretty good season though - except for CR.

Next season we ought to be top 6.

Still 4 games to go. I hope and believe that Shakey will play those games to win and that Gray and Chilwell will get a run out.

Those 2 with Ndidi are the players we need to start moving the team towards. last year's form was no basis for this year's results, the same is true of next year. Let's progress towards being top 6.

I absolutely agree with the sentiment here even if I don't necessarily agree with the whole post.

Too many know are willing to bin off too many of the current squad, even the whole of it, citing this season's failures as evidence that they are spent. It's worth remembering that there were just so many changes and so many unknowns to this seasons and the players probably just didn't adapt quick enough. You don't build success with wholesale change but instead you harness all the good things and make them better.

Last year Drinkwater was outstanding, the year before he was pretty much the same as he has been this year. He is a player who can be very, very good, his problem seems to be that things have to be just right for him.

We always looked the more likely to score, could easily have been 2-0 with Mahrez having a couple of chances. Great assist by Nuge..... I mean Okazaki (Similar players easy to confuse)

McLean came on for them looked lively and out of place in that team. Huth a slight shove in the back of Rondon? Only way they were ever going to score was a set piece but Benny did well I thought.

Shakey subs were good, strangled the game at 0-1. I was hoping we would go and get the second to kill it of though.

The first half of the season, when Vardy wasn't trying and Mahrez was being marked by 6 opposition players, Drinkwater was easily our best player. He was played into the ground because we insisted he did the work of himself and Kanté without changing the system. He picked up the groin injury, missed a few games but never got over the injury - which is the reason given for him withdrawing from each England squad this year. He's soldiered on well but hasn't gotten back to the standard that he is. He should have insisted on having enough time off to fully recover but he isn't the brightest spark in the electrician's hut.

A good summer's rest and he and Ndidi backed up by Mendy and Amartey form a wonderful central midfield.

Seeing as the whisper that DD is injured has now become absolute fact, can anyone tell me how they know?

It's been reported many times over the last few months.

Right. I remember when Mahrez was marked by the entire opposition 11, their subs, physio and water carrier, and their mascot too. And he still scored. Bin him I say.

Where?

I find it utterly absurd that we would knowingly continue to flog a player who is injured, particularly in the cup when any other player would have made sense.

I await the plethora of official announcements regarding this well known injury

Search for them yourself, lazy git. Google is your friend, perhaps the only one;
