im listening to the sound of fecking cheap chinese fireworks going off in my village. cant hear much else

I was listening to the same thing earlier. Even turning my music up couldn't drown out the sound of the fireworks.

Currently listening to Nina Nastasia, proper miserable music, not like that lightweight stuff Highland listens to.
