The Oliver Tremor Control - "California Demise 3"

One of their best songs!!

Stunnin'. Excellent use of the A & D open chords on the bridge of the song. Stunnin'.

Who's playing it Shaun :102:

I haven't a clue who it is... but I'm learning it!!!

The song doesn't use A - I know it in a more basic form already but this is like the super nifty version.. a whole new take on the song. I figured out the new solo anyway just about and various bits of the rhythm.. he uses some real weird chords in it..

for anyone interested in learning the basic version the verses are Eminor, pre chorus is C/D/Em and the chorus is Em/C/D - G/C/D.

My favourite thing about ths version is the way he uses his hands beating on the guitar to create the drum beat type thing before the chorus - truely excellent!

Sorry, I meant C & D in the bridge, I don't know where the A came from, there isn't one in the whole of the fecking song.

Is there a tab for this anywhere, I will check Guitar Tab Universe later but can't be bothered at the mo

I have looked but I can't find one. I'm working on it myself so if I will probably tab it out and send it you sometime. I think this guy also uses bass backing track and some kind of guitar backing track that plays the vocal melody. I think he does the rhythm and main lead bits himself. I found out his name is Timo Paldanius - apparently.

I will probably whack a few videos of my own up here at a later date :thumbs_up

Bob Dylans new album, Modern Times. Its really very good too:icon_razz

The Flaming Lips - "Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots Part 1"

Such an amzing song!

Neutral Milk Hotel - Oh, Comely

A very strong contender for the accolade of "Greatest Song Of All-Time"
