You say it like it's a bad thing to have a dependance on alcohol....

I'm going to drink my bodyweight in wine left over from the wedding. Argie malbec followed by prosecco and then nasty nasty sauv blanc. If in still standing at that point I'll drink gin until I'm angry and fall out with everyone. Only then will it truly be new years eve/day.

I should add though we had a few bottles of wine at work and I've had 4 beers since so it's quite likely I'll fall asleep around 10pm.

I sort of just long for jonathan creek. Is it a new one?

I am unbelievably pissed off with tonight's events.

Up until 3:30pm I was due to be working tomorrow. All of a sudden, after weeks of deliberation with head office (nowhere in town will be open tomorrow) they decided we weren't going to open either! Which is good news yes but it meant it was too late for me to make any plans with my mates as they'd already fecked off to Birmingham for tonight. So, alas, it's New Year, and I'm sat at home as miserable as hell. Happy new ****ing year.

Having a stand-up swear fest with a hopeless crackwhore because her son twatted mine has to stand as one of the finest New Year moments I've ever experienced.

It's lovely to live a soap opera life from time to time.

Had a very pleasant evening out at friends.

seem to have aquired a house full of teenagers who are planning to spend the night here

All in all not a bad way to start the year.

Happy new year to all

Well, if he'd just paid him in the first place there'd be no need for any drama.
