I think it looks quite unique. I had my scaffold piercing then saw loads of people with it, which is fine, I'm not a "I have to be original" type of person. But it would be nice to have something a bit different. Plus I like the pain!

If you passed a current through it you could have a handy, portable ear-based electromagnet.

It would come in very handy if you wanted to retrieve keys from a drain or rescue kittens from trees. It might be useful to make your kitten wear an iron collar just in case of this eventuality.
