Got a £16 reduction on continuance of an RAC membership just for the sake of a 5 minute telephone call to a freephone number.

Guess they rely on most people just blindly accepting what they are first offered!

I tried that with the AA last year but they wouldn't budge so I cancelled my membership.

Then joined again and earned myself £30 commission...for a £28 membership :icon_bigg

They all do it. Car insurance is the same. Churchill have just sent my mrs renewal through and the price has gone up by 11 quid a motnh despite the fact that nothing (other than having an extra years no claims) has chnaged about her policy!
 
Well it was actually yesterday, but I decided to ring Virgin and give them a huge serve about how crap it was that they didnt give customers free wireless kit, how they keep taking channels away (so you'll have to upgrade) yet put the prices up, etc, etc.... so they gave me a wireless router for my trouble :icon_bigg

Thank you though to those that offered suggestions in my thread in the techy bit :icon_wink
 
Got sacked by my Leicester City team on FM10. Been on it for about 4 hours today and I get bloody sacked!!
 
I managed to work out how to install stuff into my Comiczeal app on the iPhone.

Now I have the six Scott Pilgrim graphic novels for free - with Marvel Zombies on download.

Now I don't have to listen to the wife or the kids, I can turn up the music and escape to fantasy.

I've been doing some more clearing of my late great-aunt's house.

More amazing stuff found- her diaries from 1939 with entries about the war, loads of old newspapers. Nothing of financial worth really, but very interesting.
 
I bet it's been fascinating reading her thoughts and memories from 70 years ago.


I spent all day yesterday scrapbooking, which was nice. Listening to that pile of wank on RL for a couple of hours spoilt things.

Today I will be again sorting craft stuff and re-arranging it as I'm not happy with how I've got stuff at the mo.
And then Ben is coming to empty stuff out the attic.


TBF I'd rather just go back to bed and snooze for a few more hours!
 
weighed me self today and since june last year ive lost 5 1/2 stone.
still weight 16st 10, so im still a fat bastard but cant not feel a bit happier with me sen
