Yeh I know they do it all the time, usually birds or frogs though. Even the odd mouse. But this is the first rat. They even leave stuff for the next door neighbours. The kids love it.

Yeh I think it was looks like its back was broken tbh, kept looking at me though with that look that I caused its death. I told it that the cats was the mrs idea, I don’t think it was listening though.

Nope I insisted that if we had cats they would be going out cats. Havent seen one of them since yesterday morning but I know it was her who brought the rat back this morning. Only have to deal with litter tray when they are ill and cant go out.
