Anyhow, last night I went to see Edwin Collins at Liverpool. If I had a hat I'd take it off to him, a fantastic performance. Even though he can hardly walk now and has to sit down for most of the show he still manages to perform and delivers an excellent gig.

Is he related to Edwyn by any chance?

British Sea Power at the Shepherd's Bush Empire last. Brillaintly off the wall as usual, plus two sets as well, they did a short set before the support band, Toy, who were good as well.

Micky Flanagan at DeMont last night, was a superb evening started with drinks and tapas on Queens road.

Nice little venue that.

Eldbjorg Hemsing playing Lalo's Symphonie espagnole, and looking absolutely stunning (I think she's probably a pretty good violinist as well!).

Yes, one of my favourite venues, not too big & not too small. I'm seeing BSP this Sunday as well at the Indigo O2. They are appearing as part of the Sundance Festival playing the score they did to " From The Land To The Sea Beyond " while the film is being played. Should be something quite different.

Also a good venue! A bit expensive in the bar though, if I remember correctly.

Shush, Don't tell everyone!

Actually I meant Charing Cross Hospital, my sister-in-law works there and drew my attention to it.

Eggs haven't hatched yet.

Tried it. Nice!

Do you have any links to grass growing webcams as well? :icon_wink

Addicted! Won't have any time to post here anymore. Bye for now. Will return when the grass have grown

I'm enjoying watching the snow melt.

I think I hear chick calls coming from under the incubating peregrine now - haven't seen anything though.

Hang-Up Gallery

Kennard Phillipps
27 April - 6 June 2013

56 Stoke Newington High Street
London N16 7PB

Hang-Up is pleased to introduce a provocative new exhibition from artist collaborative, kennardphillipps. On display will be the latest body of work from the acclaimed duo Cat Phillipps and Peter Kennard whose compelling images have been studied for decades. Banksy was quoted saying “I take my hat off to you.”

Entitled Blue Murder, the exhibition investigates social decline and conservative ideologies that exist in contemporary society. By utilizing deprived materials such as newsprint, charcoal and ink, the artists have ripped away at layers to reveal the ‘destruction of the welfare state’.
