Not much to back that theory up after the Burnley defeat.:icon_roll

Are you saying that because people can't afford to go to away games they can't be proper fans?

I think if Durham was saying that, he would have phrased it differently. He would probably have said something more like, "People who can't afford to go to away games can't be proper fans".

I think that what Durham was saying is that he's amazed that a tenth of our total support last night managed to find their way on to this board and vote.

It's quite simple to understand what he's saying if you read his words rather than being paranoid.

I was trying to be a tad imflammatory though ;)

According to the Police figures there were over 500 City fans at Cardiff last night - and they made more noise than 20,000 inside the Walkers. They were fans that know what being a fan is about - they were proper fans.

Fans who go away see the best of City - fans who go away give real support - don't for one minute think that these two facts are not connected!!

Nobody has any problem with fans who can't afford to go away - but those that do are amply rewarded.

That's what the Leicester bobby told me. There were certainly more than 300.

300, 400, 500 plus either way we made a lot of noise and saw a very accomplished performance from the team, we defended calmly even when they had a bit of a spell of preasure at the end, Williams (as I keep telling you all) was magnificent and pulled all the strings in the midfield, he`s a player of pure quality end of story !! Joey G, as he has been all season, was superb too, was a great night Boc do you wear a whire shirt with Bocadillo on the back ? (not that anyone else would)

I would have thought about 500!
Great night, Great Atmosphere and well worth the trip! Was a pleasure to be dancing on the terraces again cheering on the blue boys!
Anyone notice the tannoy box and the dave's disco lights accross the front.....classic!

Not always. I sometimes wear a blue shirt with Bocadillo on the back.

Let me check my wardrobe.

No, I don't seem to have a yellow shirt with Bocadillo on the back. Nor, you will be pleased to know, do I have a tartan shirt with Bocadillo on the back.

In total, I think I have 5 blue shirts (all with Bocadillo on the back), 1 reversible shirt (with Bocadillo on the back of the reversed shirt and an additional A&L logo on the front of the reversed shirt) and the 1 white shirt with Bocadillo that MB saw me in last night. In the 'not Bocadillo on the back' department, I have 1 blue shirt, 1 white shirt with flappy navy colour and 1 jade-and-navy shirt.

I think that's the whole catalogue but if I find any more I will be sure to let you know.

Can't understand how singing g*d Save the qu**n is supporting the team though :102:
Although this is probably not the right place for me to rant about how much I hate that song!

Agree there Webby, the England chanting, as I ve said in another thread drives me mad, we were there to support Leicester, thankfully there was a bit less of it last night than the league game !

Did`nt see you last night Boc you must have been getting yourself a pie (just kidding) I see you at home games, how cold does it have to get before you stop wearing shorts Yuk !!!!
