Did you ever read Desmond Morris's "The Soccer Tribe"? Written almost a quarter of a century ago but still holds good today.

The singing of the National Anthem last night had nothing to do with the supporting of Leicester, but everything to do with the prevailing of the will of one set of fans over that of the other set. There was another startling example of this last night in the constant questioning of the Cardiff fans in "Does your shepherd know you're here?".

eeerrr... I don't know. I always wear shorts - all of the time, not just for matches. I have worn long trousers just four times in the last two years - none of those was at football.
