When you get set up, let us know your Gamertag (username) and we'll(and KL Fox (soon to be MHS & pds)) meet up for a game, also without leaving your chair
Will do!!! That's the tricky part though.... my internet connection is fixed and on the other side of the room. How long is the ethernet cable you get?
needs to be a good 3m at least for me??????!
Now all I need is a high res tv.... I can see this turning into and expensive day!!!

It is about a meter and a half at best, you can pick them up from most electrical stores with added length or Ebay is good so I hear.
I need an HDTV for Xmas too!

Just checked and xbox live (the silver package) is free. You only have to pay for the gold package!!!

If you want to play your games against other people you need a gold subscription. Silver allows you to record and publish your high scores and game achievements. It also allows you to download content from Xbox Live Marketplace (Games, Game Demos etc), but you can't play against anybody online.
Gold is the way to go. You can pick up gold subscriptions in various outlets (ebay etc) for less than the standard, you get issued with a code

Already owning a 360 and then playing on the Playstation 3 I have to say it was like moving from the Playstation 2 to the 360 again. 360 and PS3 are not in the same league at all.
