Whilst I agree largely with Homer says, I am in that bracket but not for the reasons he has stated.

Over the last 2 games we have shown a total change in character and attitude. It isn't just the same old team that have scraped a couple of wins, there are players that previously shown a complete lack of interest that are now playing their socks off.

The building blocks are there, the players attitude has changed, it's just a shame that the some of the fans who have altered their attitude towards them as a result are being insulted because of it.

I was slating them players because they were showing no passion, now they have shown this new level of passion, it is only fair that I applaud them for this and get behind them and spur them on to achieve a good run of form. It would be wrong not to be optimistic

Well said Melton. I think everyone should give credit when it is due and you should be able to criticise when you think things are not right, even if you may put a few noses out of joint. As an optimistic chap though, I'll usually stick up for the team but I accept people have a right to criticise even if I disagree with them. :icon_bigg

Well said! :038:

Come on City, promotion push! A good run has got to start somewhere, why not here?

I don't know I haven't even been to a game this season. We have won two on the bounce in games I wouldn't have put us down to get any more than a point from. Two or three more wins would put us right in the mix.

Was commented on last week - every time we lose there are posts about how we are going to go down, and every time we win a game (or two) there are people on here saying we will make the play-offs or asking if we are going to be promoted.

There is, apparently, no in-between - part of being a Leicester fan. Doesn't make us bad people, does it (even if some of us are...)

At the start of the season I thought we would be bottom half of the table, just above the relegation battle, and I still think that. Anything we achieve over and above that would be an exceptional achievement by the manager.

Right now it's just nice to see some goals, some passion and some points. One or two wins/losses is not going to change that - doesn't stop all of us secretly daydreaming about going on a ten game winning streak and setting the league on fire, does it ?

so homer are we fecked or not ?

Said at the start of the season that a top half finish would represent a good season. I don't think we'll do better than that but if we can keep this group of players together then with the addition of a couple of good midfielders we should be in a position to challenge for top 6 next season.

I remember a similar poll and similar comments after the Sheffield Utd game last season. Much happier than two weeks ago, doesn't make us the new Reading overnight, also proves that we weren't as bad as it seemed. Optimistic that we can push for top half and I just hope it can be the start of a run.
