I don't know I haven't even been to a game this season. We have won two on the bounce in games I wouldn't have put us down to get any more than a point from. Two or three more wins would put us right in the mix.

It's getting points from the games that we should be winning that is the problem. I will believe a real corner has been turned when we beat a team that turns up at the Walkers with 9 men + the goalie behind the ball.

Fair point mate and, like I say, I don't claim to be in touch with what's happening on the pitch this season. Of course we will lose another match before the season runs out but for now, whilst we are winning, we might as well have a bit of optimism around the place.

the good thing about being mid-table is that it gives fans some optimism about the prospects of maybe a play-off place if not more. Which is far more positive than looking over your shoulder all the while to see if we are in the drop zone. It's horrible coming out the ground every match and listening to the results of other teams in the drop zone, it's nicer to look to see if anybody above us has dropped any points. I thought we would finish in mid-table but that don't mean that I'm not optimistic when we get good results and look to see how many places we risen.
