When are we going to find out what ThaiSweetChilli thinks he knows about Luke Thomas's absence?

:( Rather sad if that's the case. It's very easy to say that he needs someone to help him with this but it must be difficult to give him something positive and brake the chain.

Brendan, supposedly, is very good with the young players - I wonder if he's trying to help him and not just dropping him.

I also said "So this is why Luke Thomas is not being involved in the PL at least."

Jeff, sometimes I wonder why you have to be such a self-righteous, pedantic arsehole picking on every word to somehow prove that another person has said something incorrect or slightly off.

He hasn't been involved in the last three Premier League match day squads. So whether he's in training or travelling on the bus or going to bloody bowling night with the rest of the squad, it doesn't matter, he's been dropped for the reason that I mentioned.

Now hopefully he gets past it. Perhaps BR brings him back in to the fold which isn't surprising which how shit we've been lately. But Luke Thomas is not being involved in the match day squads for PL matches because he spend a lot of time in the casino and Brendan doesn't want him to play in the PL. End of bloody story.
I wonder why so many people nowadays say one thing and claim they mean another. Words have meaning, if you choose to apply your own meaning, you may as well post in Klingon

I sometimes wonder why people post one thing, then immediately deny it, as though it's not there for everyone to see.

I don't know whether what you said is true or not, I was just pointing out the inconsistencies in what you said.
Fair enough, I've said two slightly different things, though not necessarily contradicting. I'll be clearer in future. Being super precise in this matter is not at the top of my list tbh. It's also the case that i don't know every single piece of nitty gritty about this subject.

If you see an inconsistency in future, perhaps you could clarify the inconsistency by asking the poster rather than pointing out the person's ineptitude as it likely is a simple mistake.

I know it's hard to assess the tone of what someone's saying but you come across like a self-righteous knobcheese. And I'm sure i come across as many things too, but just saying.

Of course it's a free world, so do what you please. At the end of it all, i hope Luke Thomas manages to squash his demons.

Peace ✌

Well sometimes people have a million and one things to do and they make small mistakes.

This is an insignificant thing in my life which is why it took forever for me to "reveal" it as I've had little time recently.

I try to be precise in my speech whenever possible but it's not necessarily that easy when my mind is on everything else but this topic.

It is indeed super sad. That much money at that age must be difficult to get to grips with. I remember when I was that age, I wouldn't have gambled it but I certainly may have splashed out etc.

I wonder if there's some sort of player's mentor group to help the young guns? Plenty have been down this route.

I'd estimate that, at any given time, we'll have at least a handful of pros with gambling problems in the squad. It's pretty endemic in football.
I've just bought Peter Shilton's new book on how he has overcome his years of ruinous gambling addiction. I haven't started it yet. I was shocked to see a candid interview with him as I never realised he had a problem.

Yeah I don’t doubt that. Still sad though, no matter how prevalent it is.

You didn’t realise he had a problem? It’s been pretty well documented over the years Volpy.

Yeah Jeff, you ****ing knobcheese
I thought he said Jeff was an arsehole. I'm not sure that you can be both knobcheese and an arsehole. Perhaps somebody needs to check the exact colour and report back.
