I'd forgotten about that.

Despite his "retirment", and ban, he was back less than two months later. And hasn't been banned in the 10+ years since.

Most bans aren't permanent. Unless I catch them signing up again to get around the ban.

Actually that's not true. Most of the 'people' (usually bots) who are banned, are spammers, and they don't get a second chance.

And I'm sure he doesn't have a phone or computer to gamble on......the fact that there is so much of this goes on whilst most clubs carry betting and stock trading logos on every inch of the ground is scandalous. Betting advertising needs putting back in its box and drop kicking in to the sea....its a stain on the country and game, along with the money laundering, ticket prices, merchandise prices, subscription costs and fixture jiggery pokery....
