Clemence last season with Brum he won Players and Fans Player of the Year, must have played ok!

Anyone with that accent simply cannot be trusted. I say turn him into dog meat just in case.

So by that logic we should get rid of Fryatt, Howard, Oakley, King and Mattock as well then?

Yes i would.

I apologise i didn't even think it through, i just fancied posting summat after a few years in the wilderness.

But when Kisnorbo came back in he seemed to unsteady the championship heading boat.

I still think he may be an assest to us next season. He didn't produce it on the pitch last season so i hope if he does get his return that we may still yet see the best of clemence

Agreed

If...and it's a big if.....both or either of them regain fitness and then form.... then they can be better than average players at the so-called championship level. It's obvious that Kisnorbo wasn't ready when he tried to come back earlier this season.

It's a bit depressing when to read stuff on here from people who are deluded enough to believe that we have a winning team that could be spoiled by the re-introduction of these two.

For God's sake we are winning matches because we have a powerful squad by Third Division standards super charged by loanees and overseen by the first manager for sometime who isn't either a deadbeat or on some absurd ego trip.

Whilst Davies of Wolves was able to come back strong after 2 years of injuries, where would Clemence fit in? Would King automatically have go to the bench to give Clemence a chance?

Hobbs looks a decent player and has certainly improved and benefiited from playing on a regular basis, however IMO he would still struggle to make an impact at Liverpool and I would hope we would look to sign him on a permanent contract in the summer. He would easily be good enough for the Championship.

Liverpool have Carragher,Agger,Skirtel,Hyppia and Arbeloa who can all play Centre Half. Can't see Hobbs ever getting a game and he's English as well which immediately penalises you with Rafa

Mercury said:
There was a boost for City in that defender Patrick Kisnorbo was in the senior squad on Saturday for the first time since his knee injury, although he was not in the 16 selected for duty.
Pearson said: "He has been training with the first team squad of late and looks nearer to being fit."
