I went to Luosto, Finland (part of Lapland) earlier this year and it was an awesome place to get away; peaceful, untouched snow, amazing views, would definitely recommend it. Ice fishing/snow shoe walking/skidoo, loved it!

I'd like to go Sweden next summer for 2 to 3 weeks. Catch the U21 Championships at the same time but feckin hell, it's expensive.

Also get enough courage to see a few Bundesliga games on my own.

Been to a test match over there before mate? It's great in the carribean when the crickets on. I went when harmison took all those wickets 4 years ago. They were losing and they were still cheering all day. I liked it so much i went back there for the world cup. Went out for a beer with Nixon, Anderson, Bell and Dalrymple. Quality blokes.

I would think judging by my level of fitness about 3 weeks....but I'll be taking it easy and enjoying the scenery/atmosphere,especially after Loch Lomond so I'd guess 4 or 5 days.Be early in the year to avoid the midges
