so do i but I would rather spend 50-100 less and wait till after xmas. Wont get to play on much before then anyways as I will spend most of it getting very pissed.

get a 360 mhs-you don't need a hdtv to play it ( i dont) its just a an nice extra, and something which you can add on eventually if you want.

No need Leroy, that's still a few months away and already considerably more expensive than the 360. I still think they'll run some promotions though for those that are undecided

Get a 360, only played on one for about 15 mins - PGR but the step up in graphics from a PS2 is unbelievable, also the sounds are amazing as well. Im hoping to pick one up cheap in January, I seen you can get the top pack with extra controller and any 2 games for £299 already so if that gets any cheaper after xmas, then im sure I will be able to squeeze one out of my student loan!!!

I agree it has been the same prioce since release, i can't see MS lowering the price as it is a hell of a lot cheaper already the the PS3.

I would say both but if it is a choice get the 360 as it still looks ace on a normal tv but at least you would get more enjoyment out of it, and you can still save for the TV.

Fair enough, I have heard the 360 and HDTV isn't all it is cracked up to be. You'll have more fun with these purchases.:icon_bigg

Never had another console aprt from Sega or Sony.
Don't know whether I'll be able to adjust.
