It's done by ballot, but something like 150,000 people apply for the 30,000 available places (note to any pedants, this is not accurate dat, it's an example). Unfortunately my name wasn't pulled out of the hat.How did you fail?
I could try and get a charity place, but you need to raise a minimum of £1,500 and I don't think I could do that.

There's also Edinburgh in May, I love the place, however it can be a bit hilly around there. Would the Dublin one be flat?
