Heard this morning from a work colleague (her daughter works at the club) that Neil Warnock is indeed very interested in the position and a press conference has been called at Sheff Utd this morning for 11am.... oh my god no :(

he be a good bloke to have in my opinion.

done ok at sheff utd on limited budget, has shown loyalty to them over a good number of years, is certainly a character in the game and isnt afraid to speak his mind, demands and gets respect from his players, is very experienced in the game, we just need to make sure that if he signs he has a clause in his contract which says he cant bring gillespie with him!

at the end of the day all the speculation about who it gonna be is going a bit over the top we seem to be living in some dream world that we gonna get a really big name sam allardyce:icon_lol: tigana :icon_lol: i mean come on were they ever gonna come here? milans millions or not? so the likes of warnock or maybe colman are the best we gonna get but i think that colman may well find himself at man city.

I honestly don't know how I feel about this, I hate him almost as much as wise, but he appears to be an ok manager, though hasn't really achieved alot

i feel the same, i really dislike him as a charactor but he is a great manager and his sheffield utd team have done well and were lucky not to go up with us and portsmouth a few seasons ago, he has had no money but still brougt decent players and tbh very unlucky to get relegated but i loved every bit of it...

i'm confused :102:

Only the Not Rights ever believed that we could attract someone like Allardyce. Most of us know the limitations of any candidate we are likely to attract and are aware that whoever it is there will be some risk/downside to him

But Warnock is simply an unacceptable appointment for most City fans

Not sure why that is though Homer, is this because a lot of City fans have got their heads in the clouds?

Warnock wouldn't be my first choice, but realistically would be a decent signing IMO against Ince.

what happends if he is appointed as the Leicester Manager??

i always thought the level of Chris Coleman is the highest we could go

but if warnock got the job i wouldn't be upset i would still support although he is a prick but if he gets the job he is our manager and we have to support the team and he is part of the team
