So when do you reckon we will find out whether we've been given anymore tickets or not?

This is the reply I got from the ticket office this mornng ...

Dear Mr ------,
Thank you for your email. We are talking to Stoke at this present time about a further allocation and are waiting on a response. We will hopefully make an announcement shortly.

Kind Regards

When all the arguments have stopped - we can demand the tickets if we have the balls

And, just for once, I think we might

The football league does have a rule, it's just very difficult to find out what it is online. I've found a couple of sites that say it's 10% but I'm still trying to find an official football league or club document that should prove it conclusively.

Look at the Southampton Charter for 2007-2008. It's in several other clubs' charters as well.

I have seen that...but it doesn't state that 3,000/10% is the rule, just that that's the number they allocate to away fans.
Most of the club charters have a line like "The club abides by The Football League regulations governing the allocation of tickets to visiting clubs.", without mentioning what the rule actually is.

Here you go, this fresh in from the Football League after I emailed them this morning ...

Regulations provide that each club must make provision for at least 2000 visiting suporters at every home match or such number as represents 10% of the club's certified capacity, if less than 2000. This figure may be reduced on application to the Executive or the clubs themsleves may agree to a reduction

Many thanks, SJN.

Now I wonder why they won't answer my emails.
