Whilst that documentary mentioned us its worth mentioning whats happening isnt exactly fitting with the plans they said which were.sell training ground.use only loanees or freebies from top tier.whilst we are spending heavily on players from the division and league one.also the investments on the pitch etc. as well.
I think it was Lee Hoos who suggested the training ground could be sold. I haven't seen it but I understand there is substantial renovation happening there.

also the investments on the pitch etc. as well.

It is exactly the model Milan tried to follow & failed with, due to his incapability of picking managers

whilst also trying to pick players for whichever manager was there at the time, and making a pigs ear of that as well.
Wednesday are going through the same process at the moment that we went through with him.

Im sure they will be delighted when they get promoted then.

Well they beat Rotherham last night at Don Valley so that's a start but the fans will be looking for Megson to get them in the top 3-4 or even top itself before the end of the year or I can see Milan looking elsewhere in January

We are owned by a consortium.

The Raksiaksorns and King Power are part of that consortium.

The consortium has much more money at its disposal than just the Raksiaksorn fortune.
We're talking close to billions here.

Go tit?

It was my understanding that the Raksriaksorns bought out the consortium and are now sole owners?

Official Statement from the OS

In response to Monday evening's Channel 4 documentary, Dispatches, Leicester City Football Club would like to issue the following statement.

Leicester City Football Club and the club's owners, Vichai and Aiyawatt Raksriaksorn, can unequivocally clarify that Joe Sim was not linked to the purchase of Leicester City by Asia Football Investments, nor has he had any involvement with, or authority to comment on any subsequent Leicester City business.

Vichai and Aiyawatt Raksriaksorn have met Joe Sim, through his role as Chief Advisor to the Thai FA, but reiterate that in no way has Mr Sim had any involvement with Leicester City Football Club.

Leicester City Football Club and its owners are committed to absolute transparency in every aspect of its operations and activities.

The Club is now looking forward to the pre-season tour of Austria, beginning tonight against Bursaspor, following an unbeaten tour of Sweden, ahead of next season's npower Championship campaign.

I am a miserable bastard of a cynic with an abject loathing of foreign investors...but I'm starting to thaw to the concept of KP.
