Who will want to stay and who will feck off to the Prem? And who won't get into a League 2 team?

Will be taking that statement with the pinch of salt I always take such things. If a Blackburn or Newcastle type job came up for example I for one wouldn't be surprised to see him go.
..... and have shit loads of pressure on him? Ok he will have some sort of pressure on him here but nothing like he would get at a struggling premiership club.

With all due respect, I think that you are wrong: Sven is a man of honour, and I believe him.

What players do you think you wont be seeing next year?

PVA - Get someone better in
Yakubu - Will Join Prem side
Kamara - will join Norwich
Berner - Will join Hull maybe?
Howard - Sheff Weds
Oakley - Bench or reserves
Ricardo - Released and forced to retire
Lamey - Will sign for macclesfied
Moreno - reserves
Hobbs - Hull?
Neilson - brentford
Logan - Bristol Rovers

thats my good guess

**** me. It's only taken you 241 posts to come up with something that's half decent. :icon_lol:

I'd Keep Hobbs, King, Gallagher, Dyer, Waghorn, the rest need to be desposed of in my opinion because I don't think their good enough.

I get the feeling Hobbs was the player SGE was on about when he said something along the lines of "I loaned out the players who were a bad influence on the training ground" at the Q&A.

If so, he's the last player I want us to keep.

I don't recall him saying he "loaned out the players". I believe it was more that he got rid of the players. I took it he was referring to Fryatt as did aa few others I know.

Well, according to David Gwilliam's post he specifically mentioned they were loaned out: http://talkingballs.co.uk/showthread.php?t=32832&highlight=sven

For me the most interesting comment was on players attitudes. Some players give energy and some drain energy. That is why some of the players left on loan. Since there are only three first team players on loan and he has praised Neilson's attitude this must surely be a criticism of Hobbs.

I was near the front and can confirm that Sven used the word "loaned" since I was surprised that he was so specific.. It seemed to me then that he meant Hobbs because a couple of weeks before he had praised Neilson's attitude to being out of the team.

Always been my problem. I just don't listen.

Thank you to Profondo for quoting what I said at the time.
Ignore my quote above since my quote from Sven immediarely after is clearly more accurate than my recollection some weeks later.

Always been my problem. I just don't listen.

You are not the first person not to listen to me:
In 1963 I told people clearly that Vietnam would never be important and Berlin was the place to watch
In 2007 I told my family that Obama had no chance in hell and Hillary Clinton would get the Democratic nomination - something that has not been forgotten
In 1995 I told everyone who would listen that the club needed to get rid of the disastrous Martin O'Neill since he was wrecking all Mark McGhee's good work
In 2000 I had a picture of Peter Taylor who had taken Leicester to the top of the Prem. I pointed it out to some architectural historians visiting from America telling them that Peter Taylor was the greatest figure in English history a fact which bemused some of them.
And still people don't listen to me.
