What did the tribubal say that we had to pay for him? Are we coming near to the threshold for some kind of additional payment based on appearances or something?

2 million for williams is complete and utter shite. We will get £300k for him, tops. Hes rubbish and shown no improvement since joining the club.

I personally dont think selling williams will have any impact what so ever in ether direction on LCFC's final finishing position in the league this season.

I almost agree with you. £2M is way over, but by virtue of the fact that he seems to be on his way to a Premier League club, I think we might get back the £500,000 we paid for him.

And yes, I can't see how his departure can have a direct effect on our finishing position but it will certainly cheer me up if I don't have to see him slouching about the pitch with his shirt hanging out and with a face which he seems not to be able to decide whether to shave or not.

Well he has ability, the reason for poor performance's will be down to motivation not ability and tie in the fact it is a premiership club coming in for him I see no reason why we cant get a 7 figure sum.

Gareth Williams I feel has been a massive let down; had he always applied the tenacity and skill he does in patches then I truly think we could've been far better off at the moment. If anyone can get the best out of him it's Psycho, anything over £250 000 is fine by me. I just wished we were being linked with strikers or defenders, not midfield players.
