Lawrie Sanchez is the best option I've seen so far. Not that the standard is great though.

One thing about LS is that he started our decline in March 2001 so he could be the man to finish it. We'll probably need to be ugly and effective to get going again, much like the early days under Brian Little. LS seems to me to be the perfect candidate for this approach.

Why would we want someone like Steve Clarke? Who knows whether he's any good or not? Barmy suggestion imo. We need someone who has been around a bit and managed generally successfully and doesn't mind getting his hands dirty.

Davies is a solid choice but I doubt whether he'd want to work for MM or drop into the third division.
