I read this article the other day (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4984386/Mancini-fell-Man-City-Shay-Given.html) and thought to myself that this sort of character is exactly what our club needs. Someone that will piss everyone off and make major waves.

However, we're in too precarious a position to take such a gamble in my opinion. This season now is only about staying up and we need someone that can achieve this. And I speak as someone stands to gain almost £900 if we do go down.

Had we brought Mancini in during the summer, he'd have been ideal. The senior players committee would have been disbanded in minutes.

Allardyce is obviously the right candidate for us at this time. He'd be ideal for a couple of years whilst we stabilise and push on.
Whilst I agree that we need someone to upset the apple cart somewhat and sort the clique out, from reading that I think Mancini would be a bit too hot headed. I’m not quite sure how anyone reading that article thinks he’s the man for the job.

There's a football forum on RL at 6 o clock. Time for all the mongs to call in wanting Pearson or Taggs and Walsheh.

Might just tune in just for entertainment value. Have a listen to the window lickers.

They’re window lickers for wanting someone you don’t want?

That’s nice.

How about big Mike Stowell. He would keep our stars happy and develop this new 4-4-2 approach.

He engaged in activities which could be considered criminal. I agree it's not 'official' but he has shown himself to be open to corruption time after time. The fact he has yet to be out before the courts doesn't make him any less of a fraud and a charlatan.

If you type 'King Power' and 'corruption' into google, you get over 2 million responses.

Our owners are no strangers to that world. From the moment we sold out to Mad Mandy, our club has been presided over by very dodgy characters. Much like many other clubs.

Anything that Allardyce has been accused of is of no comparison in my opinion. Remember how Pearson stage managed payments to his son or note the fact that the owners appointed Sven who has far more 'corruption baggage' than Allardyce.

By all means disagree with Allardyce on the basis of his managerial ability, but to go for the corruption angle is weak.

Carlo (I can't spell Ancelotti) PLEASE. We seem to do OK with Italians.

Please NOT Fat Sam, Coleman, Pardew or Moyes, although I fear its going to be one of these.
