If you type 'King Power' and 'corruption' into google, you get over 2 million responses.

Our owners are no strangers to that world. From the moment we sold out to Mad Mandy, our club has been presided over by very dodgy characters. Much like many other clubs.

Anything that Allardyce has been accused of is of no comparison in my opinion. Remember how Pearson stage managed payments to his son or note the fact that the owners appointed Sven who has far more 'corruption baggage' than Allardyce.

By all means disagree with Allardyce on the basis of his managerial ability, but to go for the corruption angle is weak.
So, to sum up, because the company owned by the chairman has been caught up in alleged corruption, it's perfectly okay to accept such behaviour in our prospective manager, a man dogged by corruption allegations, some filmed, some recorded for the best part of 12 years (at least)?

I wouldn't want Pearson or Sven back here for lots of reasons, many of which are to do with their off the field antics so why would I want Allardyce here either? Is football really that much of a moral black hole that people are happy to say 'it's okay because it has happened before' or is 'happening elsewhere'? Decency has to come into it somewhere for me I'm afraid and his appointment would be less than decent. There is also the idea of trust. Leicester is the perfect club for Allardyce at this time in his life - They will give him a massive contract and whatever happens, he knows he'll be collecting a great paycheck.

On a sub-note, I really don't think Allardyce would care about success here one way or another. He will be paid a huge some either way and probably retire afterwards anyway. A younger, hungrier manager may be more likely to have that desire to do well and move on with their career. Mind you, who the hell knows?!

Imagine that. This place would explode so what the hell would happen over at FT?
They’d all wet the bed.

How dare they be negative about something.

I love the fact that you've jumped on homer's bandwagon and neither of you have even got the metaphor I used correct. Geniuses.

I guess you'd be over the moon with Strachan then. Mind you, you'd be over the moon with Pearson and that tells its own story.

I can clarify I definitely wouldn’t be over the moon with Strachan, and I’m not sure where you got that from. You’re good at making assumptions.

Pearson wouldn’t be my first choice, but in my opinion he’s a much more attractive proposition than most of the names being banded about. I also think he deserves a lot more respect from people on here for the way he built the foundations of this club during his two spells with us.

If that makes me a mong according to SJN’s narrow minded logic, then so be it.

Ancelotti: unrealistic

Allardyce: last final pay day, a managerial dinosaur. No thanks. If we were 18th with 10 games to go, probably.

Dyche: Gerrimin

Won't be one of those. It'll be Strachan...

I mean, really? There are so many strings of irony that I can't be bothered to draw you a picture of them.

He engaged in activities which could be considered criminal. I agree it's not 'official' but he has shown himself to be open to corruption time after time. The fact he has yet to be out before the courts doesn't make him any less of a fraud and a charlatan.

Steve Kean called it years ago:

Appleton will win the games he takes charge of, be appointed full time, have a few more successful games after that before the wheels fall off spectacularly and we all go round again...

So a ridiculously over-optimistic choice
A begrudging meh, he'll do if we have to, choice
And a desperate short term shambles, to save us from the usual bunch of failed cockwombles

Fair enough

I still don’t see where I’ve said I would be over the moon with Strachan. I was just passing comment that people are allowed to be negative at something and not be bed wetting retards.
Like I said, you’re good at making assumptions.

Anyway...back to topic...when’s Paul Ince due?

As long as Dusty Bin is his second and they bring in Billy Shitpants in January I'm happy with Ince. Happier than I would with Allardyce anyway.

I've had that nightmare too.
