Nobody is interested because the club is being ran by absolute ****ing chimps.

The suits have dismantled everything that made us attractive as a club.

We'll be lucky to get Dowie.

In what way has anyone dismantled anything? None of your post makes any sense to me. Can you elaborate?

Money talks.

They'll have to open their wallets big time if they want anyone of note. Unless they go down a division where they can probably have their pick (it's what I'd do rather than throw money at someone)

Club is too forlorn to be attractive for anyone other than desperate retreads, people looking to fill their coffers, or a young inexperienced manager desperate for a chance. Of the options, I'll take the last.

They haven't. They took on a manager who many turned their nose up at and helped deliver us one of the most incredible, unprecedented stories in the history of the game. Their hand was then forced by that same manager and some of his team who had an appalling transfer window and decided to throw the baby out with the bathwater, changing far too many things far too quickly. They removed him which was the correct thing to do otherwise we may well have been relegated. Okay, they took a punt on Shakespeare when many wouldn't have but options were limited and they thought better the devil you know. That wasn't their finest hour, I concur.

They have now acted quickly to placate the fans by removing CS. Some of those that wanted him removed are now moaning that there isn't someone with a wonderful CV instantaneously ready to take the club on and guide us to the Europa league and beyond. Perhaps I am being hyperbolic for effect here but the sentiment is, in part, true.

You can say some negative things about some of the ways the club has been run but to argue that the owners and their management team have 'dismantled' the club or have been 'bad' for us on the whole makes no sense at all.

Nobody decent will touch us with a feckin' bargepole, even Allardyce FFS - we are truly tainted goods

Prepare yourself for Moyes or Pardew

The negativity on here from one or two is absolutely astounding. Frank de Boer or Ritchie Wellens anyone?

Are you joking?

You tell me what's left from 2 years ago when we had the opportunity to kick on and progress as a club?

We've spunked away all opportunity by appointing people not up to task, allowing players to have too much say in key personnel.

We've gone from signing quality players for good money to spunking millions upon millions on complete garbage.

We've lost a key scout and figure and replaced him with superscouts list.

We've got no identity or style of play.

We've got no ****er interested in managing us.

The decline has been rapid and it's down to people at the top making shit decisions and allowing bad behaviours to creep in.

People are not pulling their weight.

Are you joking? - Nope

You tell me what's left from 2 years ago when we had the opportunity to kick on and progress as a club?
Not sure how big that opportunity was. Kick on to what? Establish ourselves as perennial title challengers? It's still Leicester City we are talking about here and realistically with the competition around that just wasn't going to happen. We were never going to attract the kind of superstars that many fans think we should have been attracting but granted the lack of 'progression' since the title win has been disappointing. I consider that to be a symptom of our success though.

If the rumours about the player power are true then i agree that this should not have been allowed - especially in relation to the sacking of Ranieri. That said the fact is that when Shakespeare took charge he won his first 4 games and effectively kept up a sinking ship

We've gone from signing quality players for good money to spunking millions upon millions on complete garbage.
Can't argue that signings have been disappointing. But not sure many of them were questioned by fans when they were made. Losing Walsh clearly had an impact as I can't think of anyone else who has uncovered such bargains on a regular basis. But once Everton came in - he was always going to go wasn't he? I think the fact that millions have been spent is irrelevant. Its just a sign of the times. Have Everton spunked £45 million on Sigurdsson?

We've lost a key scout and figure and replaced him with superscouts list.
Yep - but again the lure of Everton was too attractive - hardly the owners fault?

We've got no identity or style of play.
We had one when we won the league and the year after everyone figured it out. Again - not the owners fault.

We've got no ****er interested in managing us.
Again not sure what the owners can do - and we don't know that yet anyway.

The decline has been rapid - Agree - and it's down to people at the top making shit decisions and allowing bad behaviours to creep in I think its a little more complicated than that.

People are not pulling their weight.

I'm not saying we are in a good place here... Just don;t think we should be so quick to slag off the owners who have done huge things for us - beyond our wildest dreams.

Are you joking?

You tell me what's left from 2 years ago when we had the opportunity to kick on and progress as a club?

The wonderful experience bought to us by key investment and decisions made by said management you mean? Many of us are still smiling about the fact that we had that experience 2 years ago to judge things against. I wouldn't trade that in for a lovely little settled Stoke type club setup.

....allowing players to have too much say in key personnel.

Same old hearsay without basis of fact.

We've gone from signing quality players for good money to spunking millions upon millions on complete garbage.

We've lost a key scout and figure and replaced him with superscouts list

Many of the players we have bought in were on this key scout's radar by all accounts so we may have signed them regardless. We've also signed Maguire and Iheanacho who, although a bit shite on Monday, many fans were over the moon about, with Silva to come in. We were resolute over the transfer of Mahrez which was very good to see as we have been a soft touch in the market for years.

We've got no identity or style of play.

They have just sacked a manager to address this.

We've got no ****er interested in managing us.

That's not exactly true is it? We are less than 24 hours from the removal of CS with a couple of high profile names and a useless duffer in Allardyce having distanced themselves from the job. It's hardly akin to nobody being interested - let's not get hysterical.

People are not pulling their weight

Whilst some may not be, it is once again hearsay based in nothing to suggest that this is the way the owners and their management team are behaving collectively.

I understand people's frustration with things but to suggest that the club is being dismantled is so over the top it's rolling down the other side.

I'm not saying we are in a good place here... Just don;t think we should be so quick to slag off the owners who have done huge things for us - beyond our wildest dreams.

To begin with I'm not necessarily talking about the owners, although the book stops with them.

Also, I have not once suggested that building upon a good opportunity meant establishing ourselves as perennial title challengers, that would be absurd.

However, I didn't have the shite currently being served up in mind either.

It is possible that the owners have done great things for the club and also ****ed up royally with other actions/decisions. The two things are not mutually exclusive.

Unfortunately our success came on the back of players we bought for peanuts and turned them into stars.

So we buy Vardy, Mahrez, Drinkwater and Kante for about £10million in total. A few years later they have a collective value of about £150million.

We expect to still get great players cheap. £10million does not get you a decent Championship player any more with inflated TV money. so if we have paid £20million for someone we almost have an expectation they must be amazing because we only paid 300,000 Euros for Mahrez!

I am also fairly sure that many of our recent signings were probably on Walsh's radar from a couple of years ago anyway. He does not appear to be doing an amazing job at Everton, so he is not necessarily being missed that much.

I am more concerned about what targets we may have missed because of Rudkin, who seems to have floated up to Director of Football from the academy and youth coach.

Does he have the right skills for handling these big contracts and getting our targets on board?

I think we all know the answer is a resounding 'no'.

Ranieri's dismissal will have no bearing on our getting another manager, more successful managers than him have been dismissed in more surprising circumstances. Right or wrong, this is football and any manager who has had more than 1 job would know to expect no different.

Our next manager will only be concerned with his own wages, and whether he believes the players we have, and the budget we are going to give him match his ambitions.

Unfortunately much of our squad will not appeal to ambitious managers, so it will come down to a manger feeling he can reignite the fire in our title winners and/or having a lot of money to spend in January. Not sure if ffp will prevent that though.

Sooooo many people waning Shakey sacked, yet I've yet to see a decent contender replacement who WILL actually come to the club.

Even Big Sam is ruling himself out

Not saying Shakey shouldn't have been sacked, but I don't think it showed enough ambition appointing him in the first place....However I don't think we would have gotten anyone better.

It's cuckoo to sack a manager and the day after sit down and go 'right, what now?'. However, that is exactly what we've done by the looks of it, yet again.

The replacement should have been sounded out already and be in by the weekend. Anything less is a dereliction of duty.

The sacking of Shakespeare was also a clear admittance that 'the powers that be' had made a monumental error in appointing Shakespeare in the first place.

To merrily ride through another shit show of poor decisions without repercussions for whoever is making moronic decision after moronic decision will lead us to only one place. We will continue to do stupid things.

I'm amazed we didn't think to do this during the international break. If a home game vs West Brom was the deciding factor, it feels like a move without any plan. Given that he has been sacked following this game, it would surely be in people's heads that it may happen. Therefore, surely, we should have done it at a time which gives us the optimum window to sort out a replacement, e.g an international break. All seems a bit shoddy, to me.

They may already have had managers on their radar that they are now talking to.
The post-Ranieri experience will have told them you cannot just pop into Tescos for a new manager.
Unless you already have a manager who has agreed to come, because they are currently unemployed, two weeks may not be enough time for someone in post to be released.
However sacking the players mate manager sends a clear message to the players that there is going to be a big change.
Players may give the 'caretaker' bounce performances. They want to be sure whoever the new manager is, they will get picked so they get their appearance bonuses and whatever else.
If Mahrez wants a move, he has to prove to someone he is worth £50million.
