my Ben knows his place....if he don't like it he can take his two shoeboxes full of junk and go back to his mum and dad lol

in fact....i might get them ready just in case he has been lurking about on here and is getting ideas from Lazzer and Co.

do we keep getting all of these old threads popping up??!!

Because there's a 'similar threads' function, which often lists similar threads to the one you're looking at, so people have been reading a lot more old threads than usual. If the old thread contains a poll and someone votes, this brings it back to the top of the forum again.

Same thing happens if somebody posts a message to an old thread - I nearly did it yesterday, when my mention of the word 'Legends' brought up an older thread in which people were saying that Kevin Russell was not a legend because he only played 30 games. I resisted replying to such bollocks only because I didn't want to dredge up an old thread.

Why somebody didn't point out what a load of shite they were talking is another matter altogether!

Rooster was a legend Boc - even if it was for a very short time.

I agree - but it was not what people were saying in that earlier thread.

Although he only started 30 games, he came on as sub in another 20. I believe his performances as sub boosted us late in the game and gave us the lift that we needed both to avoid relegation in 1991 and to get to Wembley in 1992. It's just a pity that he didn't seem to able to do it from the start of a game - but he was/is definitely a legend.
