Wifi question

I've been sent a new super hub by Virgin as my existing one was faulty. As it will create a new entry on the list of available wifi, how do I delete the old network from the list? ? I know it's probably really easy to do, but I'm far from tech savvy

On my laptop - the little icon that you click and it brings up the list of available wireless networks to connect to.

Your old network shouldn't appear on that list once you've disconnected your old hubby

It does though, as when I was provided with the first hub my old wifi connection name was still showing as available to connect to.

Does the new network show up as well? Or are they both maybe using the same name?

Haven't set this hub up yet, but if it follows form I will see both. Just wanted to clear the list down a bit.

Maybe a "Forget this network" option or something. I don't know. Really not into techy things

If you've completely disconnected your current hubby before setting up the new one, your laptop won't be able to see it so it won't appear in the list of available networks to connect to

It depends. Networks that I have previously connected to still appear with a 'not available' tag.

Click on the redundant network and then on 'Forget' or similar.
