Hi There

With our game against Leicester fast approaching our thoughts are turning to producing our match programme for the game.

This season PNE media are looking to involve the fans, both home and away, as much as possible in the publication and that is where you message board members may be able to help us out.

Rather than producing the same standard old pen pics which get read in every programme at every ground you visit we want you fans to provide us with your opinions on your players.

We aren't asking you to criticise members of your squad in any way at all, we want you to tell us who your best players are.

There are five main categories. We'd like you to tell us which Leicester player fits that category and why.

The categories are as follows...

The Icon - This player is the undisputed star of the team, the player that all opposition teams must fear.

Teacher's Pet - The manager's favourite player, the one who can do no wrong and always seems to be in the team.

Hardnut - The hardman enforcer, might pick up a lot of cards but would give his all for the cause.

Mr Consistency - This player will never let the side down. He's always there when it matters whatever the weather.

Wonderkid - This kid will be an international superstar in five years time. He'll take your team to the top or be sold for massive profits.

Everyone who gets a contribution published will get a mention in the programme and the fan that comes up with the best answers will win a pair of tickets for the game.

There are two ways you can respond, either by putting your reply in this thread or if you would prefer email me at [email protected] putting Leicester Player Profiles in the subject title. If you don't wish to be named in the match programme please indicate.

Many Thanks

PNE MEDIA

The Icon - Matty Fryatt, when fully fit.

Teacher's Pet - Stephen Hughes & Alan Maybury

Hardnut - Danny Tiatto

Mr Consistency - Patrick Kisnorbo

Wonderkid - Ashley Chambers

**** off i dont even want to win tickets. every player is a useless piece of shit unworthy of wearing a leicester city shirt or even playing on the walkers stadium turf, every single one of them would be more use giving free soup out to homless people on a voluntary basis.

Put that in your 2bob programme

The Icon - Alan Maybury

Teacher's Pet - Elvis Hammond

Hardnut - Levi Porter

Mr Consistency - Alan Maybury

Wonderkid - Geoff Horsfield

How about instead of free tickets, you just tell your heavy-handed stewards how to behave?

Thanks for all the answers sent in so far. You've still got chance to get in the programme by responding today.

Cheers

The Icon - Iain Hume for his constant running and even trying to create his own chances

Teacher's Pet - Stephen Hughes, even when he has been playing poor still got in the team and he was being played out of position!
Hardnut - Danny Tiatto, who is suspended for trying to do his all for Leicester City, wears his heart on his sleeve.

Mr Consistency - Patrick Kisnorbo, since his move to the defence from midfield he has excelled in his new position.

Wonderkid - Joe Mattock, already plays for the england under 17's fast and has a very goof left foot, something we have seriously lacked this season

I'll have a go if it's for note.

The Icon - Matty Fryatt

Fits the blue-eyed squeaky-clean image perfectly, scores important goals in big games and scored the quickest ever Leicester goal against you lot.

Teacher's Pet - Alan Maybury

Various hissy-fits, needless yellow cards, giving away penalties and goals. He manages to get in the team despite having 2 alternative players at right-back.

Hardnut - Danny Tiatto

Bound to pick up a yellow card every game and that's reason why he's suspended for Saturday's game. Gives his all, if not good enough at times.

Mr.Consistence - Iain Hume

Works hard every game, 12 goals this season from an ex-midfielder. His end product sometimes is the best but he pretty much carries his form all season.

Wonderkid - James Wesolowski

Recovering from two broken legs, he's had little time on the pitch of late. He's on the fringes of the Aussie side and was City's best player in drab defeats to Norwich and Plymouth.

The Icon - Patrick Kisnorbo is the best performer this term by a country mile, and has been capped by Australia following his impressive performances in an otherwise awful season.

Teacher's Pet - Hard to know with the new man in charge, under the previous tenancy one would have to go with Ian Hume, picked every week for effort alone.

Hardnut - Patrick McCarthy. Team Captain at the start of the season, certainly aggressive.

Mr Consistency - The fans. The only thing consistent this season is that 20k LCFC would turn up to watch, alas.

Wonderkid - Joe Mattock. England youth star, left footed defender, made his first team debut last week against Norwich City at only 16.

The Icon - Iain Hume-puts in 100%every game, a fact appreciated greatly by the fans in this troubled season-listen out for the chants of "HUUUUUUUUME"

Teacher's Pet - Stephen Hughes-the scotsman was a regular under previous manager Rob Kelly, despite his indifferent form this term

Hardnut - Geoff Horsfield- a veteran striker, built in the traditional centre forward mould. The horse will hustle and bustle all afternoon, meaning the North End centrebacks won't get a minutes peace.

Mr Consistency - Paddy Kisnorbo-if theres been one player Leicester have felt they could rely on its the big australian-solid as a rock for most of the season, and as a result has been linked with various premiership teams

Wonderkid - Levi Porter-the little man has come on leaps and bounds, and has been one of the better players this season, scoring a few goals along the way including the winner against Wolves at Molineux

;)

The Icon - FCUKCOV

Teacher's Pet – Highland Fox

Hardnut - Macky

Mr Consistency – Melton Fox

Wonderkid – MHS, Everyone wonders how he has the guts to cadge so many free pints.
