They had over 20 shots and none were on targeted or a threat, Ward had no real shots to deal with. Wolves could have stayed on the pitch for a week and would still score 0.
Try taking your blue tinted glasses off.

The league table is very odd. We’ve now the same number of wins as the teams from 11th-17th, and only one fewer win than Liverpool and Brighton. Much of a muchness, the big risk was we were on a losing spiral and could have got cut off very quickly. Thankfully we’ve addressed that, are now capable of winning games again, so we’re back in the mix. Long way to go though and hopefully a hammering next week won’t set us back.

Ward made some decent saves. Maybe try one of those.
You said they should have scored, yet Ward made saves he'd be expected to make and the opportunities were not easy. Hence, they didn't really have any great chances.

Yeah, no great chances…

I am willingly watching match of the day for the first time this season.

The times, they are a changin. Is this because Brendan has gone back to basics?

They have scored 5 goals all season and we allowed them 20 shots....

The concern is that they are cleau absolutely ****ing shit but we still conceded an obscene amount of shots on goal against them.

It's fine though tbh because this league is riddled with badly coached bags of shit.

Can you let us know if you see Wolves have any real chances or not , and then please let us know, 'cos it seems like none of these dopey ****s actually watched the game....

In the last four games we have scored 11 goals conceding only one. We've earned 7 more points, nearly twice as many as we had before this run and we've seen our GK improve hugely as well as our new CB performing like a leader. All this whilst missing our best player for one of these games and having big Dan Amartey deputising at CB.

It's almost as if some misersble ****s love to piss and moan for any reason they can scratch around and find.

Such as...?
If Costa had a better head on him he’s getting a hat trick.

Justin blocking him at the back post.

A decent save by Ward, from a Podence shot.

Seriously - they had a few chances.

We won because we made fewer, but clearer cut, chances. As well as a massive dose of quality. Both Tielemans and Maddison scored goals that many other players simply wouldn’t have been able to execute.

If Todgers had got the sack after the Spurs game as many, myself included, would have happily accepted, we'd feel completely justified by what has happened since. A crap loss to Bournemouth, but 4 clean sheets in 5 games, a +9 goal difference, and big wins against Midlands rivals.

The game I watched, Wolves had possession but did very little with it. Other than Costa at the back post where Justin had zero clue but left a leg out, they appeared to have much less attacking threat than say Leeds.

Really great performance, I thought Soumare was on the whole okay. Made a few gaffs but looked solid. Daka ran and ran but struggled to find space. Amarty has been a revelation.

No expectations against Man City but everyone has an off day.

Liverpool beat Man C by sitting deep and hitting them on the break, Salah scored the only goal of the game from a punt up the pitch by the GK, if Rodgers has done his homework he will play similar tactics

That will only upset Pep and Rodri as we won’t be playing football their way !
