It’s the kind of comment you might expect (and I hear all the time) from Big club supporters or lower league supporters who won’t pay any attention to mid table Premier league games. Why would they? Just looking at the league table you might think that.

But a presumably well paid pundit should really be expected to at least look at our results, which is all you need to do, and see how we’ve underperformed vastly against the bottom half. If he wanted to put a bit more effort in he might have actually watched footage from a game or two to see why fans aren’t happy and how we’ve set ourselves up to play.

Nobody bothering to ask why the fans have the hump DESPITE being 8th. And anyway, 8th doesn’t mean anything as compared to points per game etc. it’s an arbitrary and impermanent measure.
