In Leicester last night for a family celebration and on the way back to Sheffield now.
But we stopped at Beaumont Leys, although the Sat Nav pronounced it somewhat different, and came across this fantastic parking.20170709_123706.jpg

View from over the road at my place a couple of days ago:


We used to holiday there when I was a kid. We used to mark tennis courts on the sand, when the tide went out. It's the biggest beach I can ever remember going to, a brilliant place as a kid.

It's still a great place for kids and families. That bunker you can see on the beach was back in the dunes when you used to come though.
