It would be interesting to hear peoples views on this, list your top 5 worst signings in the last 5 seasons, maybe one of svens crop will appear in your list? Maybe more?????? You decide

only been going for 2 1/2 years so might be a little invalid... gabor bori, robbie neilson, RYAN MCGIVERN, CARL IKEME AND TONY WARNER. all total and utter shit. ooh actually.... astrit ajdarevic

nielsen, waghorn, crncic, campbell, kennedy, adams, ajdarevic............the lot of 'em. They are all cack!

I would be tempted to include Jimmy Neilson and Carl Cort.

Neilson was bought without anyone seeing him play on the advice of Neilson's agent who also happened to be Martin Allen's agent. I pick him out because he was numbered One and yet I cannot remember him playing any competitive games.

Top of my list would be Carl Cort. He passed his medical while being injured. He was then described as being awesome while still injured. Perhaps the worst thing about him was that Martin Allen changed his mind about signing Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink because he had got Carl Cort. It was not just that Hasselbaink would surely have played better than Cort did but he was a strong character in a season when we needed one.

I would rank Worley as Holloway's worst signing because the two Hungarian wingers were only brought in on short contracts for an emergency. I would rank the unspellable player from Liverpool (not Hobbs) as being Pearson's worst rather than McGivern who was a loan signing for a sudden emergency.

Sousa's signings are more difficult. The only time I saw Moreno I thought he was quite good though people who saw him in away matches tell me that he was poor. Against Sunderland ( perhaps) Lamey did not have a bad game. The fact that the club has been paying the Slovenian striker with the missing vowels without him ever playing suggesta he is the worst. Sousa's most successful signing has been Vitor but I am not convinced that he is better than Morrison or imporessed by his injury record..

Sven's only permanent signing has been Vassell and I am not willing to criticise him for short term loan signings.

Some might say that Ricky Sappleton would count. This would be unfair as Martin Allen signed him in 2007 to be a future star but did not say how far into the future.

Josh Low, Jason Jarrett, Shaun Newton, Darren Kenton, Peter Canero

I suspect that the worst signing in the last 5 seasons is Sousa himself.

He has inflicted far more damage than the likes of Carl Cort, McGivern or any of the other players for that matter, including Kermorgant.

All of the others pale into insignificance.

1. Sergio Hellings
2. Casino Jimmy Neilsen
3. Gabor Bori

I'm sorry - but if you were signed on a decent wack and made no appearances for the club at all - that makes Hellings the worst signing of all time, not just the last five years.

Others being cited range from a bit crap to total let down - but even your Josh Lows got pitch time.

No one being mentioned is worse that my three so I declare me having won this thread.

Now back to the party for the girl on girl shenanigans...

Doesn't really fit the criteria considering he signed in the 2003/2004 season.

... and departed over 5 years ago.

Rufus Brevett. One kick in a Leicester shirt - and he sliced that into the stands.
