Excellent interview. Completely agree with almost everything he says.

You say you don't want to sign Heskey on here because he encourages a style of play you think is outdated and don't enjoy watching and everyone has a go at you saying we need "more options," as if Barcelona don't play the same way every week, despite being by far and away the best team I've seen in my lifetime.

You spend the last 20 minutes vs. Millwall passing rings round them and taking the piss out of them and the fans behind you cry for us to "get it forward" and "get into 'em, **** 'em up."

If only Sven could show more pashun on the sideline!

An interesting interview from someone who clearly understands the intricacies of the game and understands where our National problem seems to lie.

Maybe the Leicester fans booing v Millwall was due to the fact that traditionally if Leicester **piss about** with the ball rather than pumping it froward we would probably end up giving the ball away and conceding?

Could it be that it will take a while for these fans to be educated to this style of play and gain confidence that we can put 10 passes together without giving the ball away in a dangerous area of the field?

It's took years at Barca, Arsenal and Ajax. Probably the three games who stand out the most for promoting an ideology and getting success from it. Them three clubs realise that fans are educated through success. So you build slowly and become successful. Then the fans begin to turn their heads.

Yep, that makes sense.

Sid Lowe is a top journo, so not surprising really. Though Xavi comes across very well. Wonder if he will go on to become Barca manager in a few years

Definitely seems like he has the footballing intelligence to become a great manager, but then, you could have said that about Platini too and he failed in management.
