tbh if he stays and scores the goals to get us promoted I'd say the £2million price tag would be worth every penny.

If he scores the goals to get us promoted he will be worth 50 times that to the club and that's only if we spend one season in the Prem.

I really want to hear from the people who voted no, and their reasons for doing so.

Because I watched him closely at the Doncaster game as we'd been discussing him beforehand and he just doesn't seem to get involved or even read the game and predict what's about to happen. He irritates me as he trots around seemingly aimlessly.

...and then he scores, about 30 seconds after I was saying he needed to be taken off.


On the other hand I quite happily accept that I'm female, had been enjoying a glass of wine or 2, frequently develop an irrational like / dislike of players and should probably stick to checking out the colour of their boots :icon_lol:

I must say I thought exactly the same, before he scored he looked disinterested and was chasing nothing. I thought for the first half-hour of the Watford game Vassell and Gallagher were the only ones really looking bothered. Then, saying that, I was in a totally different seats which tends to mean you get a different view of the game.

And the fact he hasn't been fully fit this season, why cant people see this. With a preseason under his belt and fully fit, he would be more than good enough for a mid to lower table Premier League team
