is this order of preference?

I watched The Editors a few months back at Cockpit in Leeds. they were fantastic!

My top 3 is in order of preference but the other 7 change in preference daily.

Sorry to be picky but Arcade Fire - Funeral was released in 2004

Here's my top ten while I'm at it, not in any particular order:

Spacemen 3 : How The Blues Should've Turned Out
Doves: Some Cities
Elbow: Leaders Of The Free World
The Warlocks: Surgery
Wilco: Kicking Television
Sigur Ros: Takk
BRMC: Howl
Wedding Present: Take Fountain
Bright Eyes: I'm Wide Awake It's Morning
Dj Shadow: Endtroducing... (Deluxe Edition)

Album of the year?

Have we done this yet??? Can't remember if we have. I have enjoyed a lot of albums this year but nothing stands out. I enjoyed...

Stars of CCTV - Hard Fi
Hot Fuss - Killers
Employment - Kaiser Chiefs
Some Cities - Doves
Funeral - The Arcade Fire

Probably loads more I have forgotten - If I had to chose one, I might go for Hot Fuss

i think Language.Sex.Violence.Other? should get a mention as it is a true return to form for the phonics :038:

Not a fan but glad you enjoyed it.

Re: Album of the year?

Hard-Fi - Stars Of CCTV
Coldplay - X&Y

Both superb albums. I wasn't expecting much from Hard-Fi's album, but it is absolutely brilliant. I think it is better than X&Y on the fact that A Rush Of Blood To The Head has some similar songs, and Chris Martin's voice, after a while, gets bloody irritating. :frown:
