They're paid each time the teams is shown live on TV in the UK. Which is why we earned less overall than some of the clubs below us, because we weren't on TV as much as some of the other teams.

Which was up until Christmas and the New Year in the main that our TV appearances were lower. After that we were featured more until the last 8 weeks when we were on every week.

I expect next season they will still cream the same monies off Sky in the Championship and be on every other week at least, with those other non entities Leeds Utd featured as they too are a "big" Club
The fact that a Club like ours can win such a major trophy never featured in Sky's thoughts last season until probably the Man City away game. And even then I'm sure they still thought we were going to blow it.
