Nothing to lose by making him an offer atleast. Shay Given is far too good for this league but if there's one thing we could guarantee him it's the #1 shirt and regular game time.

Have a work contact who has "connections" at Man City, and he reckons Given will be coming to us

If Given plays as well as everyone believes he could, that could pretty much make Sven worthwhile. There is no way his name would even be bandied around in Leicester unless we had Sven

True, though keeping us from going to league one has already made him worthwhile. That and him being the first manager since MON that I've paid attention to when it comes to interviews.

I always thought NP's interviews were hilarious. Similar to Mick McCarthey's, I'm not sure whether it's deliberate tongue-in-cheek humour or he's just a mardy bastard, but his scathing and dismissive remarks to Stringer's questions were fantastic.

Agreed, I loved the way NP never gave anything away about what was happening at the club, whether it be involving the players or anything else. It was funny to hear him practically ignore Stringer's questions.

He made me laugh too. I think some of it was kind of deliberate. The way he was so dismissive of some of Stringer's questions was delightful.

Mick McCarthy (yes I realise I spelt it wrong last time before anyone else points it out) is the king of that dour/deadpan press conferance style, still can't tell whether he's deliberately trying to be funny or not, but I find those deadpan subtle post-match interviews far funnier than Holloway's style of going on about how working class and how much of a "bloke" he is.

I agree PR. I've found quite a few people disagree with me and don't like McCarthy, but I think he's very funny and like listening to his interviews.

NP was also good for not getting carried away if we lost or won. It was part of the reason he was as successful as he was here in my opinion.

Sorry, waiter...

The No-spring Chicken is mine, Emile ordered the Tits Surprise.

Oh, and could we both have a jug of Um-Bongo? Thank you.
