Played them both. PES is playable but I much prefer fifa at this point, maybe when im bored of fifa ill get PES.

I expect this will happen with lots of people. It's how PES got it's reputation in the first place.

It's about keeping your shape and accepting the shocking ability of your player. The tactical side is a lot more detailed and you need to work on to succeed. I change my formation almost every game.

Gone are the days of your centre mid chasing the ball all over the pitch. Also, the full-speed turns. Don't forget to make full use of the R2/RT button.

Play the way you're facing and keep the ball.

I've found that the best way of defending is to draw the opposition into the midfield and close them down in there, rather than chasing the ball all over the pitch.

I just wait till the final ten minutes and then bang. Basically the AI is ten times better than any other PES game before, sadly the gameplay speed is ten times slower too. Maybe I just have too much affection for PES.
