Went to the Vishal on Saturday - excellent as always. 9/10

I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned on here before.

Well if you've been there before youself and never mentioned it, it shouldn't take you by that much of a surprise.

mmm, I did skim through plenty of chat about the best curry houses in Leicester in here - just looking for new ones to try rather than checking everyone I'd been to was covered.

If this thread is to be taken seriously, who and where is The Vishal? I'll take you up on your recommendation and make it my next port of call.

Asia De Cuba - 6/10
Overly pretentious. Glad i wasn't paying. A place like Nobu can get away with prices as high as these were, Asia De Cuba can't. The food was of a high standard, just not enough to warrant the prices they charged.

Itsu - 8.5/10
Great Sushi, relaxing environment and good sake and food, a step up from the frenetic pace of Yo Sushi! If you like Sushi then this is a good choice.

went the Royal Arms in Sutton Cheney yesterday for Sunday lunch

fantastic food, i had the lemon sole and Mrs DV had the pork (please no editing :) )

was reasonably priced, well presented and a lovely place, recommended

Asia De Cuba is in Westminister near Leicester Square Tube Station (London)

Like it there too, they do a mean curry in the week too. Or at least they used too. They still got the chocolate fountain?

I was talking to somebody recently that hires out chocolate fountains for corporate events and the like, apparently the only way to get the melted chocolate flow is to mix it with vegetable oil. mmmmmmm niiiiice.

It's basically chocolate flavoured chip fat.

We have one of the small "at home" chocolate fountains and that is true with the milkier chocolates. If you use something like green and blacks it flows without it, but of course it tastes gash :icon_bigg To be honest we found the best mix was about half a tea spoon of veg oil for 2 big bars of Cadburys chocolate and you couldn't taste it at all. If you are worried about the calorie content of the oil you probably should really be eating out of a chocolate fountain in the first place!
