I have huge respect for what the owners have done for the club.
What's that got to do with clapping a dead King? I hear that the heir apparent once made his dog a general in the army.
If the owners pet dies and they want a minutes applause for it too, am I being disrespectful not to? Where would you draw the line?
It's not personal to them at all. I feel the same about these random minutes of applause that have appeared in the game if a fan dies or something.
The owners did what they did to ingratiate themselves to the Thai powers that be, nothing more.
Thinking that was a load of shit that we should have had no part of and believing that they've been excellent owners are not mutually exclusive.

I've already said they've done a good job. But they're supposed to do a good job. It isn't a favour and they make plenty of money off the club in return. They're doing better from the arrangement than any of the fans are.
I give them hundreds of pounds every year. What else do you suggest? Blow jobs after every league win?

I disagree. If I'd been at the match on Saturday I wouldn't have clapped for the dead king, but I still respect the owners, I just don't respect their views on the dead king. You can respect someone without having to respect everything they believe.
