You have to wonder if Taggs as assistant is an attempt to put a gloss on what will be seen as a disappointing and unpopular appointment in Megson.

He won't last long. :icon_roll

This is season-ticket burning news.

Relax. :icon_cool When MM has seen enough of the crabbing about that he showed at F****t he is on his way. ;)

Megson 'set for Leicester post'

Megson has been out of work since leaving Forest in February 2006

Gary Megson is poised to take over as Leicester boss, BBC 5live understands.
Megson, who twice achieved promotion to the Premier League with West Brom, will become Leicester's fifth manager since Craig Levein left in January 2006.
Club owner Milan Mandaric said earlier this week he would interview four candidates for the post, but Megson is thought to be his preferred choice.
Gerry Taggart, who played for the Foxes for six years until 2004, is expected to be Megson's assistant.
City have been without a manager since Martin Allen was sacked on 1 September. Megson, meanwhile, has been out of work since his spell with Nottingham Forest ended after only a year in February 2006. The 49-year-old has previously managed Norwich, Blackpool, Stockport and Stoke before arriving at West Brom

You could always send your season tickets back - but I bet no one will. Its a one way bet - if he is crap he'll be sacked and if he is good then thats ok.

Precisely and if NF is going to run a book then I want to go long the "if he is crap he'll be sacked" bet. :icon_roll

Now we know why TNBD wanted us to back Mandaric on his appointment. He knew it would be hugely unpopular with the foxes faithful.

I'm hugely disappointed with the choice, but it would be unfair to not give him the benefit of the doubt.

We are all Leicester fans, and we will always be 100% behind the team.

Hopefully this is the start of something beautiful ......
