It's evenore ridiculous when they do (rightly) ban female circumcision.

It is a foul, disgusting and depraved practice, regardless of the gender of the child.
I find it bizarre when news or current affairs TV programmes have items about female genital mutation and decry it as scandalous, but completely ignore male genital mutilation and, in fact, they do find it completely acceptable.
