Final matches on Friday:

Northern division:

1 Nottinghamshire 7 4 1 0 2 0.88 10.0
2 Lancashire 7 3 1 0 3 0.86 9.0
3 Leicestershire 7 2 1 0 4 -0.14 8.0
4 Yorkshire 7 3 3 0 1 -0.22 7.0

If we assume that Lancs v Leics doesn't happen, Leics will finish on 9 points. Yorkshire could overtake them on run rate with a win against the sheep.

Southern Division:

Sussex 7 4 2 0 1 9 -0.66
Surrey 7 4 3 0 0 8 1.17
Kent 7 3 2 1 1 8 0.30
Middlesex 7 2 2 0 3 7 -0.21

(RR for Sussex and Surrey are not updated for tonight's result)

So Leics could finish higher than the third placed team in this division if results go the right way.

Fixtures:
Middlesex v Essex, Lord's, 17:30
Surrey v Kent, The Brit Oval, 17:30
Sussex v Hampshire, Hove, 17:30

Midlands/Wales/West division:
1 Warwickshire 7 5 1 0 1 0.39 11.0
2 Gloucestershire 7 3 2 0 2 0.96 8.0
3 Northamptonshire 7 2 2 0 3 0.4 7.0
4 Worcestershire 7 2 2 0 3 -0.96 7.0

This one looks the best bet for Leics to grab the final quarter final spot.
Gloucestershire v Glamorgan, Bristol, 17:30
Warwickshire v Worcestershire, Edgbaston, 17:30
Northamptonshire v Somerset, Northampton, 17:30

more floods please, leicestershire has been ok so far

You're right Jeff, I think Warwicks and Somerset could win their matches. I had a small bet on Somerset to win the thing since they have Trescothick, Hildreth, Cameron White and Langer. But something obviously didn't click at the start of the comp for them.

i think id rather take a guaranteed point than risk playing and getting nothing and hope the other results go our way...nice sig btw :icon_bigg

From the lccc site:

If Yorkshire Phoenix overcome Derbyshire Phantoms then they climb above the Foxes into third place because their have won more games. (if we get a point) :icon_conf

You can stop assuming. The match has been called off.

All vBookie stakes have been returned, so people might want to dash back to vBookie and lose it on the Surrey v Kent game.
