Wow. Makes me shudder. Could that be the worst ever 11 to represent City together? So much dross with one or two average at best players.
If we're talking average ability out of ten then any side with David Bell in it is, by default, far worse.

Elvis Hammond
Iain Hume
How could we lose?

Nice. Who's the best of them? Iain Hume who is at League 1 Preston...

Guess it shows how far we have come over the last few years. Nevermind fighting for automatic promotion we should be thankful we're not fighting relegation again!

Conrad Logan
Dependable but not overburdened with talent.
Pat McCarthy
Woeful. Looked like he was drowning most games.
Richard Stearman
Overrated lightweight.
Alan Maybury
Complete and utter dogshit.
Danny Tiatto
Feisty, occasionally useful but far more often a liability.
Paddy Kisnorbo
Solid. If he hadn't got injured he might still be now.
Levi Porter
Pish, but massively overhyped because he was a local lad. Stinking attitude.
Stephen Hughes
Like Stearman, another lightweight, but not overrated. Nobody rated him at all.
Absolutely appalling from day one.
Elvis Hammond
A truly horrifying footballer. Comically inept in front of goal, had zero vision and understanding of the game and looked enormously out of his depth.
Iain Hume
Popular because he ran around a lot. Not a good footballer.

4-1 home defeat to Sheffield Wednesday, but it was two and a half years before Weale signed for us. Our goal was also scored from long range - a Stephen Hughes strike that took a massive deflection.

From what I remember though the others were belters. Jermaine Johnson got one didn't he?

Nope to the above, must be a different game.

Not sure he played for Sheffield Wednesday, but I can remember Darren Carter scoring two absolute pearlers against us.

No, he didn't join Wednesday for another 8 weeks. Brunt x2, Whelan, Tudgay.

That's the only game I can recall in which we conceded three long-range goals.

That's some memory, he's only ever scored one against us.

Said by some to be the most talented player to come through the Arsenal Academy in recent years.. Alleged drug dealing father - but very talented player nonetheless

What about his last 10 years?

Bad news, and past it.

Stay away. (Not that I give these rumours any credence anyway.)

To be fair anything his father did is the last reason I would want to sign him.

Exactly, might have been interested 5 years ago but not now.
