i don't think this new album is all that great, not as good as a rush of blood to the head, but it has got some good songs on it

I was quite suprised to see how huge ColdPlay were in the states when I was out there. On every radiostation, even a live set on MTV. Easily the biggest Brit band out there.

Good to see a good response to my thread in my absence.

Watched them on Glastonbury and thought they were brilliant, their performance of Fix You was fantastic and it is defo thier best song on this album.

The Foo Fighters are a good band but IMO lack some cutting edge.

Thirteen senses are probably the biggest coldplay rivals along with Athlete in the Piano Rock genre so give those a try
